Raze Network and PolkaFoundry Joint Hand to Bring the E2E Privacy Layer to DeFi dApps in PolkaFoundry Ecosystem through Efficient Sigma Bullets

The future of DeFi is cross-chain solutions introducing a limitless combination of composable products. Before mass adoption takes place however, DeFi user privacy concerns must be addressed. To support privacy across the entire DeFi ecosystem, PolkaFoundry is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with the Raze Network, a substrate-based cross-chain privacy protocol for DeFi and Web 3.0.

Under the partnership agreement:

  • Raze Network will bring its privacy-preserving middleware powered by its advanced zero knowledge proofs to the PolkaFoundry ecosystem.
  • The PolkaFoundry production hub for dApps will support the seamless implementation of a universal plug-and-play private DeFi infrastructure for Polkadot.
  • DeFi users will be able to securely and anonymously take advantage of cross-chain DeFi opportunities while ensuring financial information is not exposed online or on-chain.

As a one-stop production hub for dApps building on Substrate for Polkadot, the PolkaFoundry production hub supports end-to-end DeFi dApp integration, including UX, onboarding, data oracle, and other solutions. Any sustainable DeFi solution must also meet the complementary goals of providing both transparency and privacy in transactions. Through the Raze Network-PolkaFoundry collaboration, dApp builders will be able to easily add universal plug-and-play privacy preservation for the Polkadot ecosystem.

Raze Network provides an end-to-end privacy layer for DeFi dApps operating on the Polkadot network through its zero-knowledge proof solution called Efficient Sigma Bullets, an advanced encryption algorithm. Raze turns zk-SNARKS — a cryptographic proof that verifies information without revealing that information — into a privacy-preserving building block through the Zether framework. By supporting all Polkadot-based assets, the Raze Network provides DeFi users with an anonymous bridge maintaining user privacy across the Polkadot ecosystem.

Through the PolkaFoundry-Raze Network partnership, dApp developers can add a critical privacy layer while building frictionless, borderless DeFi solutions on PolkaFoundry. Both teams have committed to exploring other privacy solutions to support cross-chain DeFi applications in the future.

Raze Network is a Substrate-based cross-chain privacy protocol for the Polkadot ecosystem. It is built as a native privacy layer that can provide end-to-end anonymity for the entire DeFi stack. The Raze Network applies zkSNARKs to the Zether framework to build a second-layer decentralized anonymous module. It will then be imported as a substrate-based smart contract. The objective of Raze Network is to enable cross-chain privacy-preserving payment and trading systems while protecting the transparency of your assets and behaviors from surveillance.

PolkaFoundry is a platform for building borderless and frictionless DeFi dApps on Polkadot. It aims to be the one-stop production hub for DeFi dApps with all the necessary features, services, integrations, and tools for DeFi experiments, innovations, and real-world solutions. Taking advantage of the interoperability and scalability of Polkadot as well as integrating many DeFi-friendly services into the platform, PolkaFoundry also provides UX-enabling features that make dApps as easy to use as normal applications and bring dApps to the masses.
